DEFINITION |
Financial assistance provided to
individual applicants based upon the specific financial need of the
family and the applicant's compliance with the scoutership
philosophy and guidelines. |

PHILOSOPHY |
- Girl Scout events and activities
will result from realistic girl-adult planning that allows Girl
Scouts adequate time to prepare troop or group money-earning
projects that will support the girls' choice of activities.
- Scouterships are granted to
individual applicants who have a specific and distinct financial
need. All applicants must be registered Girl Scouts.
- All applicants are to contribute
some portion to the activity cost.

INSTRUCTIONS |
- If your daughter is
participating in a troop/group activity, the troop/group leader
must submit the Girl Scout Troop Program Activity Report before
scoutership requests will be reviewed.
- Adults are eligible to apply for
scouterships for troop activities only when the participation of
that adult is required to ensure that Safety-Wise guidelines are
fulfilled.
- Review scoutership philosophy
and guidelines. Consult the troop leader for additional
information.
- Complete this form and click the
submit button. Forms must be received on time (see below),
and have complete information in order to be reviewed.

SCHEDULE |
All scoutership requests must be
received in the Girl Scout Center at least one month prior to the
date of the event/activity except for Troop Trips with a budget over
$200 which must be turned in three months prior to the event. |
